Terms of Service

1. Who we are

digiGUARD is a cybersecurity news brand published by Gallmond GmbH, Dittrichring 15, 04109 Leipzig, Germany (see Imprint). These terms apply to the website digiguard.news, our newsletter "The Weekly Brief" and the DigiGuard publishing workspace at social.gallmond.com (TikTok app "digiguard.cyber").

2. Website and newsletter

Using digiguard.news is free and requires no account. Our content is for general information only and is not legal, security or investment advice. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in every issue. We may change or discontinue the website or the newsletter at any time.

3. DigiGuard publishing workspace

At social.gallmond.com we run a publishing and analytics workspace for the DigiGuard brand (TikTok app name: "digiguard.cyber"). Users can connect their own TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, create, schedule and publish posts, and view statistics for them.

Content is only published after the user has created it and explicitly approved it. The user chooses the privacy level and interaction settings (for example comments, Duet and Stitch) before each post. We add no watermarks or promotional content and never publish anything without the user's approval.

Users can disconnect an account at any time in the workspace or in the platform's settings. How we process the data is described in our Privacy policy.

4. Your responsibility for content

You are responsible for the content you publish and must comply with the terms and policies of each platform, on TikTok in particular the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Music Usage Confirmation and, where applicable, the Branded Content Policy. Advertising content must be labelled.

5. No affiliation

digiGUARD and Gallmond GmbH are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram/Meta, LinkedIn or YouTube. Platform names are used only to describe the integrations.

6. Copyright

The texts, graphics, videos and visual identity of digiGUARD are protected by copyright. Any use beyond what the law allows requires our written permission.

7. Availability

There is no entitlement to the availability of the website, the newsletter, the workspace or any platform interface.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version dated above applies.

10. Governing law

German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is Leipzig.
